When a sniper shoots a girl and threatens to kill another person every day unless the city pays 100, 000, the uncompromising Detective Harry Callahan is assigned to the case. Callahan, known for his unconventional and often borderline methods, usually works alone. But this time, the young Inspector Chico Gonzales is assigned as his partner, which does not initially please Callahan. Despite their differences, the two begin to team up and start the hunt for the so-called Scorpio Killer.
