Marty is just a simple shoe salesman, but that doesn´t stop him from achieving great things in his dreams. He spends the whole day dreaming of becoming a world champion in table tennis. Or rather, he is convinced that he already belongs to the best table tennis players in the world. For him, it´s only a matter of time before his dreams become reality. He sees his big chance in a tournament for which Marty flies from New York City to London.
