A cosmic catastrophe strikes Colepepper Zoo when a meteor crashes into the grounds, bringing with it a deadly extraterrestrial virus. The alien pathogen spreads with terrifying speed among the zoo´s inhabitants, transforming them into slimy, mindless monsters that have lost all control of their senses. Only a handful of animals remain uninfected by the outbreak and band together to form an unusual team of survivors. Leading this unlikely group are the smart and resourceful wolf Gracie and the constantly grumbling mountain lion Dan, two personalities that could not be more different from each other.
