In the 11th century, the physician Rob Cole returns from Persia to his homeland England and arrives in London. There, he wishes to apply his acquired medical skills but encounters significant resistance from the elites. Eventually, the English king asks him to heal his daughter, who is plagued by madness. This motivates Rob to delve into spiritual healing and the human psyche.
