William Shakespeare and his wife Agnes are in deep mourning for their eleven-year-old son Hamnet. Together, they try to cope with the loss of their child. A few years later, Shakespeare writes the play Hamlet. The text is based on the novel of the same name by Maggie O´Farrell.
