Kenna Rowan returns to her hometown after five years in prison, hoping to see her four-year-old daughter again. However, the shadows of her past make her endeavor difficult. The people who have cared for the child during her absence are determined to keep Kenna away from her. Despite her efforts, she encounters rejection and mistrust everywhere.
