An exception is Ledger Ward, the owner of the local bar and one of the few remaining connections to her daughter. A relationship gradually develops between the two, which is burdened by many prejudices and expectations. Yet, with the blossoming romance comes the risk of losing everything. Kenna must find a way to make amends for the mistakes of her past and create a future full of hope and healing. Based on the book of the same name by Colleen Hoover.

Baz Luhrmann once again explores the subject of his 2022 film by exclusively using newly discovered archival material from the early days of Elvis Presley in Las Vegas. The footage shows the beginning of his performances in 1969, which were originally planned for just a few weeks at the hotel but continued for years. The film combines scenes from rehearsals, where Presley appears both focused and relaxed, with recordings of his stage performances in the gambling metropolis. This creates a portrait of the artist during a phase when his stay in Las Vegas unexpectedly became a central chapter of his career.
